About us

Founded in 2020, PyGirls is a fully volunteer-run initiative sponsored by the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). We operate with a singular mission: to inspire girls ages 12-19 to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) through free, engaging, and interactive programming courses. Our global network of dedicated trainers and partners offers a safe, fun space for participants to learn coding, critical-thinking, and STEM fundamentals.

At PyGirls, we believe in expanding horizons. By exposing students to a progressively challenging curriculum, we nurture not only programming skills but also confidence and curiosity. We are committed to providing comprehensive materials and support, ensuring girls everywhere have the opportunity to discover their potential and shape their future in STEM.

Our Goals

PyGirls thrives through the generosity of volunteers and partners, proving that when committed individuals unite, they can truly change the world one line of code at a time.
